Our Commitment to Community Support
We're proud to have donated significant funds to several impactful organizations, helping them continue their vital work in North Huntingdon and beyond. Our recent contributions include:
- Beverly PGH: We donated $7,500 to support their initiatives in providing essential services to the community.
- Circleville Volunteer Fire Department: With a $7,500 donation, we aim to assist these brave volunteers in maintaining their crucial fire safety services.
- Junior Achievement of Western PA: A substantial contribution of $24,781 was made to empower young people with skills and knowledge for a successful future.
- North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue: Our $7,500 donation supports their life-saving emergency medical services.
- North Huntingdon Police: We contributed $7,500 to aid in ensuring the safety and security of our community.
- Norwin Scholarship Fund: A $3,500 donation helps provide educational opportunities for local students.
- White Oak Animal Safe Haven: Our $10,000 donation supports their mission to rescue and care for animals in need.
Beverly's Birthdays -- A Decade of Cheer
As Beverly's Birthdays celebrates 10 years of helping children and families in need, we invite you to join #1 Cochran Toyota in continuing to spread birthday cheer! Through a variety of unique programs and gifts, ranging from birthday parties and Birthday Cheer bins to Classroom Cheer and Birthday Boutique trucks, Beverley's Birthdays works tirelessly to ensure every child knows they are special. At our local Toyota dealer, we're also devoted to helping children in need and have committed to donating up to $12,500 to Beverly's Birthdays by way of the following sponsorships:
- Birthday-in-a-Bag Kits – These contain cake mix, frosting, plates, cups, decorations, candles, and more, and it allow families to experience this special moment. Annually, we distribute 2,500 bags.
- Birthday Cheer Bins -- We sponsor the cost of Birthday Cheer Bins, custom curated birthday gift packages we provide to all the birthday children we serve. Annually, we distribute over 8,000 of these packages to visitors ranging from babies to young adults.
Over the past decade, more than 1,000 birthday parties have been hosted and more than 30,000 Birthday Cheer Bins have been distributed.
North Huntingdon Township PD & EMS/Rescue
At our community-driven Toyota dealer, we care about helping everyone in the community, including our law enforcement and essential service workers. We donate to the North Huntingdon Township PD to help cover the cost of additional equipment and technology to help prevent crime, as well as keep the citizens and visitors of the township safe. We also support North Huntingdon Township EMS/Rescue so they can purchase safety equipment for their crew members and emergency vehicles.
Calvary Cares Irwin Park Project
We help children with disabilities experience the joy of playgrounds with donations to the Calvary Cares Irwin Park Project. The goal of this organization is to install accessible playground equipment so children of all physical abilities can come and play together.
Norwin Scholarship Fund
The #1 Cochran Toyota Scholarship Fund is intended to assist graduating Norwin High School seniors to further their education in the automotive industry, technical school, a business or finance-related field, or a Pennsylvania College or University.
White Oak Animal Safe Haven
At our North Huntingdon Toyota dealer, we also take great pride in taking care of the animals and furry friends at White Oak Animal Safe Haven. The money donated to this organization goes a long way to ensure we can continue providing the proper care, shelter and lots of love to our animals while they wait for their forever homes.
